Refilling is quicker, and when cleaning you can reach everywhere instead of working through a narrow flap. More than 90 percent of the finished espresso is water, and which of the more than 800 compounds in coffee dissolve depends on what is already dissolved in it. A mineral content of between 50 and 100 mg per litre is considered the range where both come together: aromas that come through, and limescale that stays within limits.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA container you can really wipe out stays neutral for longer. Biofilm and deposits in a spot no hand can reach will eventually show up in the taste – quietly, but they're there.
