Hario V60 Pour Over Kit Porcelain 01 – The Starter Set
A red porcelain cone on the glass carafe, a paper filter inserted, hot water poured in circular motions – and the coffee flows clearly into the pot. A good start to pour-over doesn't need more.
The set includes everything you need for classic manual brewing, perfectly matched and in the iconic V60 shape. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
What's in the Set
The V60 filter holder in size 01 is made of porcelain and retains heat well – this makes the extraction more even. The conical 60-degree shape directs the water to the center of the coffee bed, and the spiral ribs lift the filter, allowing the coffee to flow through evenly. It also comes with a pack of paper filters in size 01 and a glass carafe with red accents. Size 01 is designed for 1 to 2 cups.

Who it's For
For anyone starting with pour-over and wanting a coordinated set that works right away. If you regularly brew for several people, check out the larger size 02 – such as the V60 NEO 02.
What Goes Well With It
A grinder makes the biggest difference – freshly ground pour-over tastes clearer. Check out the hand grinders or the electric grinders. A scale with a timer from the Normcore range or the Acaia collection and a kettle from the Varia collection complete the setup. Refill filter paper in the Hario collection. Fresh beans like the fruity Wild Peach or the rounded Nutty Delight.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cups is the set for?
Size 01 is designed for 1 to 2 cups. For larger quantities, size 02 is suitable.
Which filters fit?
Hario V60 filter paper in size 01, white or natural. You can find refills in the Hario collection.
Why porcelain instead of plastic?
Porcelain retains heat longer and doesn't impart any flavor. For best results, it should be briefly preheated with hot water before brewing.
Roastery Tip
Preheat the porcelain filter holder before brewing with the water used to rinse the filter – this minimizes temperature drop during pouring and keeps the extraction more even. It becomes beautifully bright and clear with Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
