Sporting Commitment: We support Nadine Aeberhard & Nils Brun
For us, United by Coffee is more than a promise in a cup. The Coffee Coaching Club is based in Bern and Zurich – and we are convinced that good coffee and genuine community provide energy. And we are happy to pass on exactly this energy.
As part of our commitment to sports, we support young Swiss athletes and accompany two young talents on their way to the top: BMX and pumptrack rider Nadine Aeberhard and gravel cyclist Nils Brun. Both are driven by what also drives us: passion, discipline, early mornings – and enjoyment at the right moment.
Nadine Aeberhard – Olympian on two wheels
Nadine (born 2002) is from the Bernese Seeland region and specializes in BMX Racing. In 2024, she made her Olympic debut in Paris, reaching the semi-finals of the BMX Racing tournament. In the same year, she won bronze at the European Championships in Verona and reached her first Elite World Cup final in Tulsa (USA).
She is also among the world's best on the pumptrack: at the 2024 World Championships in Durban, she won silver – just seven hundredths of a second behind Czech Sabina Kosarkova. She had already finished second in 2019, at the World Championship premiere in the Swiss Bike Park in Oberried.
Off the track, Nadine not only swears by good coffee but also by matcha – enjoyment in every cup, just the way we like it.

Nils Brun – from road pro to gravel privateer
Nils (born 2000) hails from Spiez in the Bernese Oberland. At the age of ten, he joined the Bike Club Spiez, and by twelve, he was already among the top ten mountain bikers in Switzerland. In 2020, he switched to road cycling, promptly became Swiss U23 champion, and then rode for Tudor Pro Cycling in races like Strade Bianche, Il Lombardia, the E3 Classic, and the UAE Tour.
In 2025, he competed in his first gravel race – and immediately finished fourth at the UCI Monsterrato, behind riders like Romain Bardet and Petr Vakoč. Since then, all his energy has been dedicated to gravel racing: as a privateer, with big goals.
“My name is Nils Brun, I am a gravel pro, and coffee is both an energy source and a pleasure for me. My ambition is to gradually work my way up to the top of the gravel sport. My long-term goal is the 2029 Gravel World Championships in Villars, where I aim to compete for a World Championship medal.”

Why we do this
Elite sport rarely happens in the spotlight. It happens in the early morning hours, in silent repetition, in believing in one's own goal – much like a perfectly extracted espresso. Supporting young talents is close to our hearts: we want to empower Nadine and Nils so they can gradually work their way to the top of the world.
What makes this possible, above all, is you. With every cup, every bean, and every machine you choose from us, you not only support your own coffee enjoyment but also two young Swiss sports talents on their journey. For that, we sincerely thank you.
And if Nadine and Nils need a really good cup after a hard session – be it coffee or matcha – we'll have it ready. United by Coffee.
