Espresso Machine Service and Repair Switzerland

Your espresso machine has been running reliably for years – then suddenly it drips under the brew group, the boiler no longer heats, the steam wand doesn't work, or the pressure gauge is acting up. Instead of buying a new machine, many things can be serviced. Coffee Coaching Club works with established workshops in Switzerland that specialize in Rocket and La Marzocco for service and repairs. We handle your request, clearly and quickly.

What Service Issues?

Typical service and repair issues: Brew group service (seals, shower screen, solenoid valve), boiler service (heating element, pressure switch, PID calibration), descaling (for copper boilers only by specialists), pump replacement, steam wand repair, regular inspection (recommended annually, with seal replacement and function check).

For which brands?

Our service partner workshops specialize in Rocket Espresso and La Marzocco. For other brands (Bezzera, ECM, Profitec, Quick Mill, Mahlkönig grinders), please contact us – we will arrange appropriate service capacity.

When to Service?

Immediately: Machine drips, won't turn on, boiler doesn't heat, pressure gauge shows an error, steam wand is blocked. Preventatively (annually): Seal replacement, PID calibration, function check – especially useful for older machines (5+ years). After water damage or a fall: Safety check recommended.

How does the service work?

Step 1: You write to us with the machine brand, model, and a description of the problem (ideally with a photo or video). Step 2: We clarify capacity and appointment with the relevant workshop. Step 3: You drop off the machine (in Bern or Zurich) or arrange shipping. Step 4: Workshop diagnoses, provides a cost estimate, you decide. Step 5: Service is performed, machine is returned to you. Delivery times: typically 1–2 weeks depending on effort and spare part availability.

Preventative Care

Much can be prevented with good care. Daily backflush (water), weekly backflush with Urnex Cafiza, regular grinding chamber cleaning with Grindz, water filtration with Brita. More in our cleaning collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which brands are serviced?

Focus: Rocket Espresso and La Marzocco. For other brands (Bezzera, ECM, Profitec, Quick Mill, Mahlkönig grinders, Eureka), please contact us – we will arrange appropriate workshop capacity.

How long does a service take?

Typically 1–2 weeks depending on effort and spare part availability. For urgent cases (café operations shut down), prioritized processing is possible.

How much does a service cost?

Varies depending on the machine, defect, and effort. The workshop provides a cost estimate before starting work – you then decide. Diagnostic fees may apply, which will be credited against the service order.

What can I do myself?

Daily backflush, weekly backflush with cleaning agent, visually inspect seals, change water filter. For all interventions inside the machine (boiler service, seal replacement, PID calibration), it's best to consult specialists – incorrect interventions can affect the warranty.

What is the warranty?

Workshop work comes with a workshop warranty – typically 6–12 months on the work performed. The workshop will discuss details with you.

What if the repair costs more than a new machine?

For high-value machines (La Marzocco, larger Rocket models), service is almost always worthwhile. For older or cheaper machines, we discuss alternatives – sometimes upgrading to a newer model is more sensible in the long run.
