Classic Stainless Steel Tamper with Weight
The Via Crema Tamper is a classic tool: 58.5 mm diameter, solid metal stainless steel, 700 g weight. No pressure-adjustable mechanism, no special coating – just a solid, durable construction with enough self-weight that a large part of the tamping pressure already comes from the weight itself.
For baristas who prefer the classic tamping feel – where the tamper acts as an extension of the hand and not as a technical tool – this type of construction is often the right choice. We also use this model in our own coffee shop.
