Home – Coffee for your kitchen

Espresso machines, coffee grinders, filter equipment, accessories and freshly roasted beans for your own kitchen, selected for everyday use at home rather than for catering. Order online, get advice and pick up in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon.

Which setup suits you depends on what you drink, how many cups a day you make and how much space your kitchen has. Our machine advisor asks exactly that and suggests suitable espresso machines and grinders.

Who it is made for

For everyone who makes espresso, milk drinks or filter coffee at home, on any budget. A single boiler is not only meant for espresso. A heat exchanger or dual boiler can brew and steam at the same time, so milk drinks work without waiting.

Our experience from the roastery and showroom: machines with stable temperature and a well-built brew group are more forgiving and deliver good results even without much practice. The same goes for grinders. An E61 brew group brings more body, a saturated brew group like those from La Marzocco and Arkel additionally brings aroma and elegance. Our opinion is one of many.

Before you decide, you can test machines and grinders side by side for an hour in the comparison workshop – an option, not a requirement. The free consultation narrows down the choice, in the showroom, by phone or virtually. For a first orientation, the machine advisor is enough. The grinder simulator shows what burrs and grind size do in the cup.

Frequently asked questions

Which espresso machine suits me?

That depends on your drinks, the number of cups and the space in your kitchen. The machine advisor asks about this in a few steps and suggests suitable machines and grinders.

Can I test machines before buying?

Yes, in the comparison workshop: one hour in the showroom, machines and grinders side by side, in Bern on Mondays and in Zurich Oerlikon from Tuesday to Saturday, by appointment. Not every model is set up at all times. Let us know your preferred model in advance at [email protected].

Do I have to come to the showroom for advice?

No. You can order entirely online. The free consultation is available in the showroom, by phone or virtually.

Tip from the roastery: For espresso and milk drinks at home, Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are a good start; Very Nutty is stronger. Dial in by weight, not by time: 1:2 as a starting point, then taste decides. That's our recommendation, one of many.
