Buy IMS Precision Screens Switzerland – The Geometry of Extraction

IMS – Industria Materiali Stampati – has been the Italian specialist for precise filter baskets, shower screens, and brew group components for decades. While standard original screens often have wide hole tolerances, IMS works with laser-measurement precision. Result: more even flow, less channeling, more aroma clarity. Coffee Coaching Club carries the most important IMS lines.

What makes IMS unique

Three characteristics define the brand. First, hole tolerances: IMS produces filter baskets with micrometer precision – every hole has the same diameter, unlike many OEM screens. Second, coatings: the Baristapro Nanotech line uses a nanoquartz coating that repels water and coffee oils, improves flow, and facilitates cleaning. Third, the machine spectrum: IMS produces screens and shower screens for almost every classic espresso machine – La Marzocco, Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Bezzera, Quick Mill, Slayer, Victoria Arduino.

The most important IMS lines

IMS Baristapro Nanotech

Nanoquartz-coated filter baskets that repel water and coffee oils – for less sticking and easier cleaning. Technically superior. For anyone who wants clear flavors from specialty roasts like our Wild Peach or Bright Cassis in their cup.

IMS Competition Series

Competition-specified filter baskets with particularly tight tolerances – for SCA Barista competitions and maximum reproducibility in a specialty setup.

Shower Screens and Brew Group Components

Precise shower screens as an upgrade from the original – ensure more even water distribution on the puck. Plus other brew group components.

Which IMS basket for my machine?

IMS baskets are available in standard sizes: 58 mm for La Marzocco, Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Bezzera, Quick Mill, Slayer, Victoria Arduino – with different heights (24 mm/26 mm) and dose specifications (12 g, 14 g, 16 g, 18 g, 20 g, 22 g). 54 mm for Sage/Breville models. Please specify machine model when ordering – we will clarify the exact specification.

For whom are IMS screens?

Specialty coffee setups with light roasts, where precision is noticeable. Home baristas who want to specifically improve an existing setup – the investment in an IMS screen is significantly smaller than a grinder upgrade and the effect is immediately noticeable. Cafes with consistency demands and competition baristas.

What goes with it

For the espresso machine: Coffee Machine Collection. For the grinder: Grinder Collection. For Puck Screens: Normcore or Weber Workshops. For Tampers matching the screen specification: Tamper Collection. For E&B Lab as an IMS sister brand: E&B Lab. For beans from our own roastery: CCC Own Roasts with Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight, Wild Peach, Bright Cassis.

Baristapro Nanotech: Nanoquartz coating, easier cleaning, daily-driver. Competition: tightest tolerances for maximum reproducibility – typically used in a competition context.

Which screen size for my dose?
