IMS MA200NT Nanotech shower screen – for La Marzocco, Slayer and Synesso

IMS makes the screen from a single piece of stainless steel, photo-etched, with an integrated membrane and 200 µm passage. The nano-quartz coating is water-repellent. Less ground coffee sticks to it, and the surface is easier to clean.
Even distribution does not automatically make a shot better, but it makes it more reproducible. Bean, grind size and ratio remain the bigger levers. What counts is what tastes good in the cup.
