IMS's latest innovation features a sophisticated design. The hole arrangement is designed to direct the espresso flow to the center. Particular attention is paid to the concentration of holes in this region, which are also placed closer together. This pattern was specifically developed for use with bottomless portafilters. The filter basket has a flat bottom and is available in four different heights. These variations allow for individual adjustment of the capacity depending on the type of coffee used. Compatible with 58–58.5 mm tampers, the basket offers a rimless diameter of 70 mm.

The extraction is extremely even and results in increased sweetness and a reduction in acidity.

You have to experiment a bit with light roasts; if you choose a sieve like this, you are by definition open to experimentation :)
