IMS RA200NT Nanotech Shower Screen 57 mm for Rancilio and Bezzera
The water falls in fine drops over the whole surface and wets the puck evenly. The IMS RA200NT replaces the shower screen of your Rancilio or Bezzera.
IMS makes the screen in Italy from a single piece of AISI 316 stainless steel. The membrane is integrated and has 200 µm openings. 98 micro-perforated hole fields, each 3 mm in diameter, are arranged in rings around the 5.5 mm centre hole.
The surface carries the Nanoquartz coating patented by IMS, recognisable by its iridescent sheen. It is water-repellent and completely smooth, without rough spots where coffee oils can settle. The used puck comes away more easily and the screen is clean faster.
What this does in the puck: the water reaches the coffee bed everywhere at the same time, and the more than 800 aroma compounds are dissolved to a similar degree across the whole surface. That does not automatically make a better shot, but it makes shots more comparable. Bean, humidity and how you feel on the day still change every day. Who it is made for
For everyone with a Rancilio or a Bezzera with BZ group whose shower screen needs replacing, or who wants to switch to a coated membrane shower screen. Before buying, it is worth checking the installed screen: the RA200NT measures 57 mm on the outside. Frequently asked questions
Does the IMS RA200NT fit my machine?
IMS lists the RA200NT for Rancilio and Bezzera. For Bezzera, this applies to machines with the BZ group. For E61 group heads, the IMS E61 Nanotec shower screen is intended, also in the IMS Collection. The distributor also names Magister, Pavoni and Promac. What matters is the external diameter of the installed screen: 57 mm.
What does the Nanotech coating do?
The Nanoquartz coating is water-repellent and completely smooth. Coffee oils and grounds find less to hold on to, the used puck comes away more easily and the screen is easier to clean. The surface is also more resistant to corrosion.
What is a membrane shower screen?
The membrane with 200 µm openings is permanently integrated into the one-piece screen. The water comes out in many fine drops over the whole surface instead of a few jets.
How fast is delivery?

Tip from the roastery: A puck that gets equally wet everywhere is a good basis for getting to know a bean.
