Does the NanoFoamer really make café-level microfoam?

Yes – with the right technique (milk not too cold, pitcher not too full, holding the NanoFoamer at the correct depth) you get microfoam with fine bubbles that allows for latte art. Not quite as dense texturing as a professional steam wand, but noticeably better than standard milk frothers.

Which milk is best?

Whole milk (3.5%) has the best microfoam character. Oat milk (barista version) also works well. Skim milk works, but with a thinner texture. Plant-based milk without barista specifications is rather difficult.

NanoFoamer Lithium or NanoFoamer V2 with batteries?

Lithium: rechargeable battery, USB-C charging, more compact, more powerful, more investment. V2 with batteries: AA standard, ready for immediate use even without power access, cheaper. For travel: Lithium. For home with fixed location use: V2 works completely.

How do I clean the NanoFoamer?

Rinse under running water after each use. Regularly remove the rotor and clean with warm water. For intensive use, occasionally soak with Urnex BioCaf Alkaline Milk Cleaner.

Does this also work with Flair Espresso?

Yes, very well. Flair Espresso setups do not have a built-in steam wand – NanoFoamer is the ideal addition for cappuccino and latte. Alternative: Flair Wizard Steamer on the stove.
