Which tamper size?

Are WDT tools really necessary?
Clearly noticeable with single-dose grinders with static build-up. Also noticeable with hopper grinders with less static, but more subtle. For anyone who sees channelling in a bottomless portafilter – WDT eliminates it.
How do I clean MHW tools?
Stainless steel parts are dishwasher-safe. Clean wooden handles by hand and occasionally treat them with food-safe oil. Anodised aluminium parts by hand.
