MHW-3BOMBER Long Measuring Spoon 8 g – reaches the bottom of the bag

The bag of beans is half empty and your spoon no longer reaches the bottom? The long handle of this measuring spoon does. You dip it in, lift out a portion of beans and let them trickle into the grinder with a soft rustle.

The spoon holds about 8 g of coffee. That is a guide value, because how much weight actually fits in depends on the bean and the roast level. It is made of stainless steel with a Silver Spot surface and is 155 mm long.

Spoon and scale

The spoon does not replace a coffee scale, it makes portioning quicker. In our experience two spoons give roughly the amount for a double espresso, and you do the fine-tuning on the scale.

Care

Stainless steel is uncomplicated: wash the spoon by hand and dry it, done.

Who it is made for

For you if you take beans from tall bags or storage tins. For espresso and filter coffee alike. And for the coffee corner at the office, where there is not always a scale at hand. You will find more tools from the brand at MHW-3BOMBER.

Tip from our café: Light roasted beans are denser than dark ones, so a spoonful often weighs a little more. In our experience it pays to weigh once when you switch coffees: with the light Wild Peach and its peach note, a spoonful usually brings more to the scale than with the dark, chocolatey Cozy Chocolate. And if you like it nutty and sweet, try Creamy Chestnut with the taste of roasted chestnuts. You will find all our coffees under coffee beans. That is our recommendation, one of many.
