What makes the Eazytamp special

With traditional tamping, pressure, levelness, and depth are all variables that you, as a barista, must control yourself – requiring appropriate experience for consistency. The Eazytamp 5 Star Pro solves this mechanically: the double spring design precisely defines the tamping pressure (standard 15 kg), the depth is mechanically limited, and levelness is ensured by the centered design.

What sets the Eazytamp apart from simpler spring tampers is the interchangeable spring. If you notice at 15 kg that your espresso is over-extracted (bitter, a lot of crema), you can switch to the 10 kg spring (red). For even softer tamping (light specialty roasts, certain brew groups), there is the 7 kg spring (blue). Three pressure profiles from one tool.
