Hario V60 Buono Kettle 1.2 Liter – more capacity for larger brews
Place it on the hob, boil the water, and with a steady pour, the spout fills – the fine stream remains controllable, even when brewing for multiple cups.
The 1.2-liter version of the Buono offers a bit more volume for longer pours, but remains as precise as the smaller model. We stock Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
Why the gooseneck
The long, narrow spout delivers a fine, even stream of water and gives you control over flow rate and pour point – the basis for even extraction. The stainless steel Buono is suitable for all hob types, including induction. It does not have temperature control; if you want to set the water temperature precisely to the degree, check out an electric kettle from the Varia collection.

Who it's for
For anyone who regularly brews for multiple people and wants a bit more capacity. If you usually brew alone, the 1.0-liter version from the Hario collection will suit you well.
What goes with it
A V60 dripper like the V60 NEO 02, filter paper from the Hario collection, a scale with a timer from the Normcore range or the Acaia collection, and a grinder from the hand grinders. Beans like Nutty Delight or the fruity Wild Peach.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference to the 1.0-liter version?
Only the volume: 1.2 liters total capacity with approximately 0.8 liters brewing volume compared to 1.0 liter with approximately 0.6 liters. The shape, material, and spout are the same.
Is the Buono suitable for induction?
Yes. The stainless steel Buono works on all hob types, including induction.
Does the Buono have temperature control?
No, it is a stove-top kettle without a temperature display. For precise temperature settings, an electric kettle with control is suitable.
Roastery Tip
For pour-over, a good starting point is around 92 to 96 °C. Without a thermometer: after boiling, remove from the heat briefly and wait about half to a full minute. It tastes wonderfully balanced with Nutty Delight. This is our recommendation, one of many.
