Hario V60 Immersion Dripper Switch – Pour-Over and Immersion in One
You pour, and instead of immediately flowing through, the water remains in the dripper – the coffee steeps, you wait, and with the press of a button, the cup drains evenly.
The V60 Switch combines two worlds: the clear pour-over of the classic V60 and the dense, round immersion of a French Press. A steel ball at the bottom retains the water; the lever releases it when you're ready. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
How the Switch Works
Coffee and water go into the dripper, the ball closes the outlet, and the coffee steeps for as long as you like – often around two minutes. Then you flip the lever, the ball releases, and the coffee drains through the filter. Because the steep time determines the result, the pouring technique becomes less crucial – this makes the Switch highly predictable.
Ceramic or Glass
The colored versions are made of ceramic, the transparent ones from heat-resistant glass. The base is made of silicone, the switch from PCT resin, and the ball from stainless steel. Ceramic retains heat longer, glass shows the flow – both result in the same clean cup.

Who it's for
For everyone who wants to brew in a predictable and repeatable way and doesn't want to choose between a clear and a dense cup. If you prefer classic pouring, the V60 NEO is a good choice.
What goes with it

What's the difference from the classic V60?
With the classic V60, the water flows continuously. The Switch retains it with a ball, so the coffee first steeps and only drains at the press of a button – combining immersion and pour-over.
Which size should I choose?
02 (200 ml) for one to two cups, 03 (360 ml) for larger quantities. Both use the appropriate Hario V60 filter paper.
