What makes the Kilonova DLC conical burrs special
The 63mm conical burrs are made of 440 stainless steel with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. This particularly hard coating keeps the cutting edges sharp for longer and reduces heat build-up during grinding, which matters for consistent results. The conical geometry delivers a fine, even particle distribution and therefore clean extractions with clearly separated flavour notes – the fine aromas really come through with lighter roasts especially.

Both carry the DLC coating. The conical geometry brings a bit more body and depth, the flat one more separation and clarity. Both are especially suited to light roasts.
What does the DLC coating do?
Diamond-Like Carbon is very hard and low-friction. That increases durability and delivers a particularly even particle distribution.
Do they fit the VS6 without modification?
The VS6 housing accepts both 58mm flat and 63mm conical burrs. After the swap, briefly readjust the grind size.
