Coffee Coaching Club is the exclusive Swiss importer of Varia. This spare part is new in our range – we're happy to confirm current availability on request.
It's a double-row ball bearing in precision class P5. It reduces friction during grind adjustment, allows adjustments with an accuracy of around 10 microns according to the manufacturer, and keeps the burr alignment stable. That gives you a quiet, low-vibration grind – for espresso as well as filter coffee. The bearing is also resistant to coffee oils and residue, rated for several thousand grinding cycles, and easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance.
