Normcore Tamper Base Ripple 58.5 mm
Rings instead of straight lines. You screw the Ripple base onto your spring-loaded Normcore Tamper, press – and fine concentric circles imprint into the puck, ring by ring from the center outward, like ripples on still water.
An interchangeable tamper base with a Ripple pattern of concentric circles, compatible with the spring-loaded Normcore Tamper from the V4 series.
What makes the Ripple base special
The Ripple base presses its pattern in concentric circles – ring by ring, from the center outward. This circular shape opens an even, radial path for the water through the puck and supports calm, even saturation of the grounds – which lowers the risk of donut extraction. The base is made from food-grade 304 stainless steel and swaps onto the spring-loaded Normcore Tamper. Whether you prefer the ring structure of the Ripple base, the grid of the Waffle base, or a flat base is a matter of taste, and that's just our view, one of many.

Roastery tip
A base with a ring structure helps guide the water calmly from the center outward through the bed. For a dense, sweet espresso, we like to reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full and round without any acidity, stick with Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. That's our recommendation, one of many, and whichever bean tastes right to you is the right one.
