What distinguishes the Hypernova set
The base material is 440 stainless steel with a hardness of HRC65, plus a titanium coating on the cutting edges. Compared to the Supernova standard burrs, this brings medium body with increased clarity and a slightly more balanced profile, especially in the finer espresso range.
The titanium coating keeps the cutting edges sharp longer and ensures slower heat transfer: the grind remains cooler, which contributes to a more even particle distribution across the entire dose. The grinding speed is slightly lower than with pure stainless steel due to the smoother surface, but the consistency is higher.
