Eureka Precisa Espresso Scale – Flat Smart Scale (2 kg / 0.1 g)
You slide the scale onto the drip tray, and it almost disappears beneath it – just 16 millimeters high. Your cup fits comfortably, without it getting cramped under the portafilter. A tap on the touch field, the display lights up brightly, and while the shot runs, the weight counts up in 0.1-gram increments.
A compact, flat scale that fits exactly where there's usually no space.
Small build, clear mind
The most beautiful way to extract espresso is by weight ratio – typically in the range of 1:2, meaning about twice as much espresso in the glass as coffee in the portafilter. The Precisa shows you this weight in real time and accurate to 0.1 grams, up to 2 kilograms. This turns the brewing process into a repeatable procedure instead of a guessing game.
It is operated via two touch fields – no more is needed. The timer runs on request, up to 9 minutes and 59 seconds, and stops automatically as soon as you remove the cup from the platform. The 300 mAh battery is charged via Micro-USB; a full charge takes at most one hour, and the connection is protected against splashes.
At 105 × 105 millimeters, it also has the same outer dimensions as the Acaia Lunar – except that its low height also allows for taller cups under the portafilter. We are partners of Eureka, and this scale is their thoughtful piece for the home. Our opinion is one of many.

Who it's for
For everyone with a portafilter machine who wants to brew their espresso by weight – and for everyone where space under the spout is limited. Its flat design is its biggest asset: It fits where thicker scales would get in the way. With the rubberized mat, the cup remains stable even with machine vibrations.
What to combine it with
A scale only shows its true value with consistent grind. Eureka builds its own grinders for this – you can find them in the Eureka Coffee Grinders. If you want to compare more broadly: the Varia VS3 from the Varia Coffee Grinders is affordable and precise, while the VS6 offers more grinding disc surface.
The matching portafilter machine, from compact to La Marzocco, can be found in our Espresso Machines – the consultation tool helps with the choice. And if Bluetooth, flow rate display, and app appeal to you when weighing, check out the Acaia Collection; the affordable, compact side is covered by the Normcore Collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the flat design so practical?
At just 16 millimeters, the Precisa fits under the portafilter even where thicker scales would get in the way – and at the same time allows room for slightly taller cups. Especially with compact machines, this is a real advantage.
Does the Precisa have a battery or does it need batteries?
It has a built-in 300 mAh battery, which you charge via Micro-USB. A full charge takes at most one hour, and the cable is included.
How does the timer work?
The timer runs by touch for up to 9:59 and stops automatically as soon as you remove the cup from the platform – so you see brewing time and weight together, without a second clock.
Can I see the scale in person before buying?
Absolutely. You can experience it live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). Online, we deliver in 2–4 business days, nationwide and to Liechtenstein.
Tip from our coffee roastery
When adjusting by weight, a roast that honestly shows what changes helps. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are full-bodied and sweet and react well to small changes in ratio. For maximum body without acidity, try the Very Nutty, for a fruity experience the Wild Peach. This is our recommendation – one of many.
