A block of stainless steel that carries every crank turn
You turn the crank and feel right away that nothing here wobbles. The housing of the C60 Baracuda Stone Washed is machined from a single block of stainless steel – a manufacturing method otherwise known from high-performance engine parts. This unibody keeps the entire drivetrain stable, so the power from your hand goes straight into the burrs instead of into flex and play.
At the center sits a 60 mm burr set with optimized burr geometry. It achieves a two- to threefold higher bean throughput while staying pleasantly smooth to turn. The grind range goes from coarse for filter coffee to super fine for espresso and cezve/ibrik – a wide range you can fine-tune precisely. Because with espresso, in the end, all that counts is that it tastes good to you; this grinder's even grind pattern gives you a reliable base for that.
Fine adjustment is handled by the GX50 Gold Clix system with a fine thread. Each click changes the vertical burr gap by 41.6 µm, shifting the target particle size by around 21 µm per click. No shot is ever quite like the last – bean, humidity, and you yourself change daily, and that's exactly what makes it interesting. Whether the 60 mm version is right for you is a decision of wanting, not needing. Our opinion is one of many.

Who it's made for
For anyone looking for a powerful hand grinder with high throughput and fine control – from filter to espresso. It stands alongside the rest of our Coffee Grinders range, complemented by Comandante Accessories and matching Coffee Beans from our roastery.
Tip from our roastery: The Baracuda's wide grind range invites discovery. For dense, body-rich espresso with caramel and chocolate notes, our beans Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are a particularly good match. If you like it lively and fruity, Wild Peach is an exciting discovery. One recommendation among many – in the end, what matters is what tastes good to you.
