As a partner of Mazzer, we carry the 233M as original Mazzer burrs from production in Scorzè near Venice. They come standard in the Mazzer Mini and fit the Mazzer Mini G from our Mazzer Collection. If you'd rather steer the cup towards more clarity and sweetness, the ZZ K202P offer the sister profile in specialty steel.
Hardened bearing steel, flat-ground: the stock grind profile of the Mazzer Mini for an even particle distribution – from espresso to milk drinks.
The cutting profile emphasises a strong, round body and a balanced extraction with lively acidity. The choice for cappuccino, flat white and dense espresso.
Designed and manufactured at the Mazzer plant near Venice, under in-house quality controls – built for consistent performance and longevity.
Fresh, sharp burrs cut more evenly and keep the particle distribution tight – that's the foundation of any clean extraction. With espresso, there's no "right" or "wrong" here: grind size, dose and ratio (classically 1:2) are the dials you use to hit your own taste. Espresso is complex, but it isn't rocket science – and every shot is its own, because bean, humidity and person all change daily. That's our view, one of many.

For anyone with a Mazzer Mini or Mini G who appreciates the original, body-forward character of their grinder – or wants to swap their stock burrs for fresh, sharp ones after many kilograms of coffee. If you love dense espresso and milk drinks, this is exactly right for you. No setup is too small or too big for it.
The 233M sit in your Mazzer Mini G – you'll find the grinder and accessories in our Mazzer Collection. Since espresso works best by weight ratio, a precise scale is worth it: affordable and reliable from the Normcore Range, with app and flow-rate display from the Acaia Collection. For a clean single-dose workflow, a dosing cup fits well – simple from Normcore or finely crafted from Weber Workshops. Matching beans are waiting in our coffee bean selection.
Unsure about the swap or the setting? Come by – we'll show you the change and dial in the grinder together with you. Experience it live, with no pressure at all.

Fresh burrs shift the grind size noticeably – after swapping, start a touch finer and dial in over two or three shots. Dense, chocolatey-nutty roasts pair well with the body-forward 233M profile: Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are reliably round and sweet, Very Nutty gives maximum body with virtually no acidity. For a lively, fruity mood, discover Wild Peach for a brighter side. That's our recommendation, one of many.
The 233M in bearing steel are the stock burrs of the Mazzer Mini: strong body, balanced extraction, lively acidity – ideal for milk drinks. The ZZ K202P in specialty steel produce a finer, sweeter and silkier picture with medium body, especially at home with light roasts. Both are 64mm flat burrs for the Mazzer Mini and Mini G.
The 233M are the stock 64mm burr profile of the Mazzer Mini and also fit the Mazzer Mini G as well as other grinders in the Mazzer Mini family with 64mm flat burrs. If you're unsure whether they fit your setup, just ask us – we're happy to help.
Burrs are wear parts. When the grind becomes less even, the grinder noticeably takes longer, or the cup tastes flatter, fresh, sharp burrs bring back the sharpness of cut – and with it, control over the extraction.
