Mazzer was founded in Venice in 1948 and has since been one of the world's most recognized Italian grinder manufacturers. For decades, Mazzer has shaped the cafe workflow – a Mazzer grinder can be found in continuous use in thousands of specialty cafes, bars, and bistros worldwide. Coffee Coaching Club is an authorized Swiss partner and offers the current Mazzer range curated with advice, service connection, and demonstrations in the showrooms.
Three characteristics define the brand. First, the Italian manufacturing tradition: Mazzer manufactures in Venice with continuously growing engineering expertise. Second, cafe practice: Mazzer grinders are designed for high-volume cafe workflow and use durable components. Third, the Grind-by-Weight innovation in the Mini-G line: the Mazzer Mini G brings weight-accurate dosing into a compact home and cafe format.
The iconic espresso grinder for home premium setups and small cafes. Classic hopper workflow, robust construction, many years of cafe practice. For setups with consistent bean profiles and dose-by-time workflow.
The further development with an integrated weighing cell. You program the target weight (e.g., 18 g), and the grinder stops when reached. Espresso dose consistency to 0.1 g.
Mazzer Philos as a home setup with modern electronics. Plus other cafe models (Robur, Major) subject to availability – contact us if you are looking for a specific cafe model.
Mazzer spare parts including burrs in the grinder spare parts collection. For cafe volume, burr replacement is typically recommended every 12–18 months.
Cafes and bars with a classic Italian workflow. Home baristas who want an Italian cafe grinder for their premium home setup. Roasteries with a cafe area looking for a durable cafe tool. Setups with classic Italian machines (La Marzocco, Bezzera, ECM-Italian line) who want a brand-consistent workflow.
For more modern single-dose workflows with low retention: Option-O, Varia, Weber Workshops. For German premium grinders with GbW: Mahlkönig E64 WS, E80 GBW. For Italian grinder alternatives: Eureka, Ceado, Fiorenzato, Macap. Mazzer is the classic Italian cafe choice. You decide.
For the espresso machine: La Marzocco, Bezzera, Rocket Espresso, ECM, Profitec. For external scales for dose control on dose-by-time models: Acaia Pearl S. For burr cleaning: Urnex Grindz. For grinding chamber cleaning: HOTO Mini Handheld Vacuum. For precision baskets: IMS Baristapro Nanotech. For single-dose conversion hopper classics: Dosing Cups. For beans from our own roastery: CCC-Own Roasts with Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight, Wild Peach, Bright Cassis.
Mini: classic hopper workflow with dose-by-time, Italian cafe standard. Mini G: Grind-by-Weight with integrated weighing cell, dose-accurate to 0.1 g. For maximum espresso consistency: Mini G. For classic cafe workflow with dose-by-time: Mini.
Both Italian manufacturers. Mazzer: strong cafe workhorse with long cafe practice, Mini G with GbW. Eureka: widest range from Mignon entry-level to Atom premium, Libra as home GbW. Both valid – the choice follows your workflow and machine world.
Cafe level – not whisper-quiet, but inconspicuous in the cafe background. For quieter home setups: Eureka Mignon Silenzio.
