Explore more →An espresso that opens up slowly: first a clear sweetness, then a silky texture that gently fills the palate, and a finish that stays light and precise. The Mazzer ZZ K202P are the high-performance 64mm flat burrs in specialty steel that draw exactly this picture.
As a partner of Mazzer, we carry the ZZ K202P as original Mazzer burrs from production in Scorzè near Venice. They fit the same Mazzer Mini and Mazzer Mini G as the stock 233M from our Mazzer Collection – they simply draw a different picture. Nobody needs this upgrade: the 233M already make excellent espresso. The K202P are a decision for clarity and sweetness – if you want them, you know why.
High-performance burrs in specialty steel, flat-ground: a finer, more even cutting picture for silky, clearly separated extractions.
The profile lifts the natural sweetness, smooths the texture and balances the acidity – medium body, soft aromas. Especially good at home with light roasts.
Designed and manufactured at the Mazzer plant near Venice, under in-house quality controls – built for consistent performance and longevity.
A finer cutting picture means fewer outliers in the particle distribution – and with it, an extraction that cleanly draws out even the more delicate, volatile compounds. A large part of what we experience as aroma happens retronasally anyway, during swallowing. Grind size, dose and ratio (classically 1:2) remain your dials. Burr sets are like engines in a car here – there's no objectively best one, only the one that suits your taste. Our opinion is one of many.

For anyone with a Mazzer Mini or Mini G who wants to deliberately shift their grinder towards clarity and sweetness – and for anyone who loves light roasts and fine, transparent cups. No budget is too small and none too big: it's a taste decision, not a hierarchy.
The K202P fit your Mazzer Mini G, and you'll find the grinder along with accessories in our Mazzer Collection too. For lighter roasts and their delicate sweetness, a precise scale pays off especially well – compact from the Normcore Range or with flow-rate display from the Acaia Collection. For puck prep, a WDT tool brings calm to the extraction: simple from Normcore, finely crafted from Weber Workshops. Matching light beans are waiting in our coffee bean selection.

After switching to fresh, sharp burrs, it's best to start a touch finer and dial in over a few shots. The clear, sweet K202P profile plays right into the hands of light roasts: Wild Peach shows a lively, fruity side, while Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight stand here too for round sweetness and chocolate. If you're after maximum body with virtually no acidity, stick with Very Nutty. That's our recommendation, one of many.
The ZZ K202P in specialty steel have a finer cutting picture: sweeter, silkier, with medium body and balanced acidity – especially at home with light roasts. The 233M in bearing steel are the stock burrs with strong body, ideal for milk drinks. Both are 64mm flat burrs for the Mazzer Mini and Mini G.
No need – the 233M already make excellent espresso. The K202P are a swap profile for anyone who wants to steer their cup towards more clarity and sweetness, especially with light roasts. A taste decision, not a must.
The ZZ K202P are 64mm burrs for the Mazzer Mini and Mini G as well as other grinders in the Mazzer Mini family with 64mm flat burrs. If you're unsure, our team is happy to help.
