The Tigershark burr set
At its heart is the Double Shark-Tip burr set made from Nitro-Rex steel. The geometry cuts and crushes even densely roasted beans efficiently – and even handles denser materials like grain. Nitro Rex is a high-performance steel with high corrosion and wear resistance; the burrs can be washed out when needed.
Built on the C40 MK4 platform
Underneath the special burr set sits the familiar C40 mechanics: a stepped click mechanism for finely graduated, repeatable grind settings, a stainless steel axle with micro ball bearings, and the oak knob that sits comfortably in the hand. Included are two containers of about 40 grams each: an amber glass jar and a clear polymer jug, both flavor-neutral and easy to clean.

The Nitro-Rex burr set handles darker, denser roasts with confidence too. For a round, chocolatey-nutty profile, go with Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight, with 1:2 as a starting point. If you like maximum body without acidity, try Very Nutty. That's our recommendation, one among many.
