The grinder brush with a long black handle – narrow enough to reach into the grinding chamber between the burrs and the spout, strong enough to reliably brush out leftover coffee grounds. A tool you use daily without thinking about it.
Narrow brush head, long handle – the right geometry for the tight spaces in grinders, portafilters, or around funnels and spouts. The bristles are soft enough not to scratch aluminum surfaces, yet firm enough to remove dried ground coffee residues.
Briefly brush through the grinder after each grinding session, and do a more thorough round once a week. This keeps your grinder free from old coffee residues that would otherwise affect the taste of freshly ground coffee.

For those who prefer an affordable alternative: cleaning brushes from the Normcore Collection. They honestly do their job.
This brush here. Swiss supplier, the right tool for Olympia setups. For those who want to keep their tools consistent.
Cleaning powder for grinders like Urnex Grindz: in the Machine and Grinder Cleaning Collection. Grinders you can maintain with this brush: in the Coffee Grinder Collection or Hand Grinder Collection.
Our recommendation: briefly after each grinding session (10 seconds are enough), and a more thorough round with the grinding chamber open once a week. This keeps the aroma of your fresh coffee untainted by old residues.
Rinsing with cold water occasionally is okay, then let it dry completely. Do not put it in the dishwasher – that will harden the bristles.

Fresh coffee grounds meeting old grounds – that's one of the most common reasons why fresh coffee at home doesn't taste like it does in a cafe. A brush and 10 seconds daily make a noticeable difference. Our opinion, one of many.
