Why an automatic bean doser?
In a single-dosing workflow, you weigh out individual beans for each shot (e.g. 18g for a double espresso). This requires a separate scale – which takes time and attention. An automatic bean doser takes this step off your hands: you program the desired amount, the device weighs the beans from its storage hopper, and dispenses them precisely into the grinder hopper.
Ideal in combination with single-dose grinders such as Niche Zero, DF64 or Lagom Mini. This gives you the convenience of a hopper grinder (no manual weighing) and at the same time the advantages of single dosing (freshly ground coffee, ability to switch varieties, low retention).
