You clip on the steam wand, hold the pitcher at an angle under the tip, and start stretching. The milk draws upward, the sound shifts from hissing to paddling to a silky murmur. You feel the pitcher in your hand — heavy enough to stay stable, light enough not to tire you. The outer wall is matte black, and the coating stays cool longer than bare stainless steel. When you take the pitcher off the wand and tip it into the cup, the milk flows through the precisely shaped spout — no drips at the rim, no streaks on the pitcher.
That's the Rhino Pro Stealth Milk Pitcher in everyday use. It's the newest addition to the Rhino pitcher family, built for over thirteen years by a small, specialty-coffee-focused brand from Australia. The Pro Stealth combines three features that previously lived in separate models: the Pro ergonomics and 1 mm stainless steel wall thickness, the non-stick coating of the Stealth line, and internal etched volume markings for reproducible milk dosing. Available in our CCC range in three sizes and two colours.
| Size | Volume | Suited for |
|---|---|---|
| 12 oz | 350 ml | Single cappuccino, flat white, solo latte (8 oz cup) |
| 20 oz | 600 ml | Double cappuccino, large latte (12–14 oz cup), two smaller drinks in parallel |
| 30 oz | 900 ml | High volume needs, professional café workflow, several drinks at once (16–20 oz) |
Both colours — black and white — have the same non-stick coating and the same 1 mm stainless steel construction underneath. The colour is a workflow decision: many cafés use black for cow's milk and white for plant milk (or vice versa), to avoid mix-ups in the rush. In a home setup, it's a matter of taste.
Most standard pitchers have 0.7 mm wall thickness. The Pro Stealth has 1 mm — visibly thicker, noticeably heavier in the hand, and thermally slower to respond. That has a direct effect on milk texturing: thicker material gives you more seconds between "cold" and the "final frothing phase". More stretching time means finer microfoam, because you can control the phases for longer. Professionals talk about "more stretch time" — and that's exactly what makes the difference between cappuccino foam and latte-art-ready microfoam.
Lines etched into the inside of the stainless steel show you the milk quantity in millilitres and ounces. If you want professional consistency and reproducibility, that's pure gold: 250 ml for a cappuccino, 350 ml for a latte — exactly the same, every day. It also reduces milk waste when training new team members, because filling no longer relies on guesswork.
The spout has been refined over the years with input from latte art champions. Two different angles in the spout profile let you get closer to the espresso — decisive for high-contrast latte art. Plus, the lip stops milk from running down the pitcher during slow pouring.
The coating isn't just cosmetic. On the inside, it means milk proteins and fats stick less to the wall — which makes cleaning noticeably easier. On the outside, it protects the material from scratches and knocks in daily café use. The coating construction is food-safe and, with its double layering, more durable than a simple Teflon coating.
The handle is shaped so that the hand's natural position lines up with the spout angle. When pouring latte art for hundreds of drinks a day, that makes a measurable difference in wrist and forearm fatigue.

| Manufacturer | Rhino Coffee Gear, Australia |
| Model | Wall thickness | Coating | Volume markings | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rhino Classic | 0.7 mm | Bare stainless steel | No | Solid all-rounder, versatile, affordable |
| Rhino Stealth | 1 mm | Non-stick (in colours) | No | Low-maintenance, colour-differentiable |
| Rhino Pro | 1 mm | Bare stainless steel | Yes, etched | Professional level without coating |
| Rhino Pro Stealth | 1 mm | Non-stick (black/white) | Yes, etched | Combines Pro-level performance, Stealth coating, and volume markings |
The Pro Stealth is the top variant in the Rhino family — all the Pro advantages plus the low-maintenance coating. Anyone working with a reductive setup who wants to skip the coating should look at the classic Pro. Anyone wanting a simple, robust daily-driver pitcher is well served by the Classic.
We regularly see three profiles in the showroom:
Home baristas with an eye for latte art. Anyone pulling a cappuccino with a rosetta at home on the weekend benefits from the 1 mm material — the extra stretching time is the difference between "foam" and "microfoam that carries".
Cafés with a plant-milk programme. Black for oat, almond, soy milk, white for cow's milk (or vice versa) — visual differentiation in the rush behind the counter. Plus: the non-stick coating makes cleaning off plant-milk residue (which dries faster than cow's milk) noticeably easier.
Latte art training and competition preparation. The etched volume markings allow reproducible practice sessions — same volume, same pull, comparable results. Standard practice for competition preparation.
From our showroom experience:
If you often do both — single drinks and large lattes — you're best off with two pitchers in different sizes. That's also the workflow in most specialty cafés.
The Rhino Pro Stealth can be ordered online at Coffee Coaching Club or picked up in the showroom in Zürich Oerlikon or Bern — delivery across Switzerland and to Liechtenstein takes 2–4 working days.
In the showroom, you can hold the pitcher, feel its weight and balance, and do a few test pulls with our machines. If you have questions about size choice or latte art technique, we'll go through it together with you — that's part of our introductory course when you buy a machine.
Important: no dishwasher, no aggressive chemicals. The non-stick coating is robust, but dishwasher detergents attack it over time. Recommended routine:
The classic Stealth has 1 mm stainless steel and non-stick coating, but no internal volume markings. The Pro Stealth adds the Pro ergonomics (refined spout, optimised handle) and the etched volume markings. Functionally, it's the fully equipped Variant.
350 ml for single cappuccino, flat white and latte art training. 600 ml for larger lattes or two drinks in parallel — usually the best home all-rounder size. 900 ml for professional volume.
Functionally equivalent. In cafés, typically used to differentiate between cow's milk and plant milk. In a home setup, it's a matter of taste.
No. Dishwasher detergents attack the non-stick coating over time. Hand washing with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge is the right care.
Several years with proper hand washing and care. Avoid steel-hard sponges, aggressive chemicals and the dishwasher — that noticeably extends its lifespan.
Yes. It works with cow's milk, oat, almond, soy and coconut milk. Plant milk sticks a little more — the non-stick coating is a real advantage here when it comes to cleaning.
Yes, noticeably. Thicker material warms up more slowly, giving you more seconds of stretching time. With microfoam, that's the difference between "quite okay" and "carries the latte art through the whole drink".
In our view: Cozy Chocolate for a classic cappuccino with a chocolate-caramel profile, Very Nutty for maximum body in milk with no acidity, Nutty Delight as a balanced daily driver. Lighter-roasted beans like Wild Peach suit single-origin espressi better.
Yes. Rhino offers Accutemp stick-on thermometers as an accessory — we carry them on request. They stick to the outside of the pitcher and show the milk temperature in real time. Handy for reproducible frothing without a touch test on the bottom of the pitcher.
Yes. Coffee Coaching Club has all three sizes and both colours on site in both showrooms. For questions about choice or latte art technique: office@coffeecoachingclub.ch.
A good pitcher makes latte art more accessible than any machine. My suggestion from showroom experience: start with the 350 ml pitcher when you're getting into it — the smaller volume forces you into clean technique, because you have less milk to "hide" behind. Once you're pulling larger lattes for guests, add the 600 ml. For cappuccino, start with Cozy Chocolate — the chocolate-caramel aromas come through the milk and give the drink a clear character. When you switch to plant-based milk, stick with oat milk at first, because it froths the densest and comes closest to microfoam quality. Almond and soy milk are workable but need more practice. Clean the pitcher right after every drink — milk that dries on is far more stubborn to remove than milk that's still warm. That's my view from the showroom, one of many.
