Consultation appointment for machines and mills

Book a Consultation for Coffee Machines and Grinders – Bern and Zurich

You're planning to buy an espresso machine or coffee grinder – and still have questions. Which machine suits your workflow? Is a single boiler enough or is a dual boiler worth it? Which grinder is the right combination? Online descriptions provide guidance, but for a high-value investment, personal consultation with a live demonstration is worthwhile. Coffee Coaching Club offers non-binding consultation appointments – on-site in Bern or Zurich, by phone or virtually.

What happens during the consultation?

Three characteristics define our consultation. Firstly, the non-binding atmosphere: No sales pressure, no pressure to decide. We help you understand your options – you make the decision. Secondly, the roastery DNA: We are a roastery ourselves and a specialist barista business. Our advice comes from our own practical application – not from reading data sheets. Thirdly, the live demonstration on-site: In the showroom, you can see machines powered on, watch the grinder grind live, pull a shot – that says more than any online video. That's our observation, one of many.

Consultation Topics

Typical consultation topics: Espresso machine selection (single boiler vs. heat exchanger vs. dual boiler, E61 vs. saturated group head, La Marzocco configuration), grinder selection (single-dose vs. hopper, grind-by-weight vs. grind-by-time, burr size), setup configuration (machine + grinder + tools as a matching unit), cafe projects (commercial setup planning), workflow optimization (diagnosis of your current espresso problems), specialty coffee entry (from industrial beans to the specialty world).

Appointment Options

On-site in Bern (Gerberngasse 44): Personal consultation with live machine demonstration. On-site in Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b): Extended showroom space (180 m²) with more machines powered on. By phone: For initial questions or if a showroom visit is not possible. Virtually (video call): We show you machines via video, you ask questions directly.

What you can bring

For showroom consultations, you are welcome to bring: Beans you are currently working with (for comparison with our roasts or testing on your desired machine), notes on your current espresso problems, pictures of your kitchen setup (for countertop space advice), budget guidelines (so we can make targeted recommendations).

What fits with this

After the consultation, you can directly purchase your chosen machine: espresso machines, grinders, barista tools. An introductory workshop is included with every machine purchase. More about our workshop offerings: Barista Workshops.
