Aram Espresso Maker + steel stand – handcrafted lever espresso entirely without electricity
You put your hand to the crank, feel the resistance of the water in the coffee bed, and a dense espresso flows into the cup – without any power socket, entirely by feel. A hardwood eye-catcher on the kitchen counter, a travel companion in your backpack.
The Aram is the first espresso machine that works completely without electricity and can be used both portably and stationarily. Handcrafted in Brazil, clad in fine hardwood.
How the Aram works
The Aram works like a hand-lever machine: the hand crank moves a piston that draws the best from every bean with variable pressure. Because you control the pressure yourself, every shot is a piece of craftsmanship – we like to work by weight ratio, around 1:2, and let taste decide. Espresso is complex, but it's not rocket science. Our opinion is one of many.
The included solid steel stand gives the Aram a firm place at home – and left off, the Aram simply slips into your backpack for the next hike.

Who it's for
For everyone who wants to pull espresso by hand and take it anywhere – at home on the counter as well as on the go. For an even grind, a grinder from our coffee grinders is a good match; on the road, a hand grinder is especially nice. Our consultation tool helps with the choice.
What goes with it
A matching tamper ensures even distribution before the shot. Add fresh beans from our coffee roastery. When you buy a machine, a private barista course is included with us – extraction philosophy and the espresso ritual in about five minutes.
