Ceado E37Z-Barista RS – On-Demand Grinder with 83 mm Burrs and Zero Retention
The first shot of the morning drops into the portafilter without any old coffee coming along from the chamber. That's exactly what the E37Z-Barista RS is about: it brings the cleanliness of a single-dose grinder into an on-demand housing built for busy locations, specialty stores and branches.
The heart of it is the SweepOut Dual-Spin technology. After every grind, the motor briefly reverses direction and clears the grinding chamber – the remainder moves into the portafilter instead of staying behind, and the duration of this reverse spin can be adjusted to taste. On top of that, the grinding housing sits at a 45° angle, which favors complete emptying by design.
The 83 mm steel burrs are designed for low friction and consistency and, according to the manufacturer, reach up to 5 g per second for espresso. The QuickSet Gear lets you dial in grind size finely and repeatably; the color touch display on the left of the hopper gives you access to programmable dosing times, reverse spin, fan control and password protection. That's a lot of technology – but in everyday use it mainly means: consistent grind size, little residue, predictable dosing. Our opinion is one among many, but a saturated chamber like this one delivers a very clean aroma profile.
