Every time a heating element is taken out of the boiler, the gasket underneath should be replaced. It has spent years under pressure and heat and has become permanently deformed – reusing it means opening everything up again shortly afterwards.
This flat gasket measures 55 × 42 × 2 millimetres and is listed under part numbers LR360 and LR360.01. It is not an electrical component itself, but the sealing element on the heating element's flange.
This gasket is due when one of the following applies:
| Type | Flat gasket |
|---|---|
| Installation location | On the heating element flange in the boiler |

This gasket sits on the boiler, i.e. on a pressurised component and in close proximity to mains voltage. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions for it. The replacement belongs in the hands of a qualified professional who disconnects the machine from the power supply, depressurises and drains the boiler, and then checks it for leaks. If you do not have a service partner, get in touch with us.
For service technicians and workshops replacing a heating element or repairing a leaking flange, and for businesses that keep suitable gaskets ready for planned servicing.
From our workshop
Before every boiler service in Bern and Zurich, we have all the gaskets ready that we might need – otherwise a missing flat gasket keeps a machine out of service for a whole day. That is our preparation, not a manufacturer requirement. While the machine cools down, we drink filter coffee, often the Cozy Chocolate.
Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will work out the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. This is the gasket on the heating element flange, purely a sealing element. We do not sell heating elements themselves online.
The dimensions are 55 × 42 × 2 mm. Send us the model and serial number and we will check it before you order.
We advise against it. It has become permanently deformed under pressure and heat and no longer seals reliably.
The manufacturer lists this item under LR360 and LR360.01. Both numbers refer to the same gasket.
Yes. We have two showrooms: Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Drop us a quick message saying which part you need, and we will have it ready and look at it together on your machine.
