The knob that starts the day
The main switch is turned once every morning, seven days a week, for years. The knob on it is the part your hand holds – and at some point it shows: the print fades, the plastic becomes brittle, the seat develops play.
This kit replaces the control element, not the switch itself. You receive the mechanical rotary part for part number F.1.184, without any electrics.
When it is due
- The knob spins freely or sits loosely on the switch shaft.
- The lettering is worn and no longer legible.
- The plastic is cracked or chipped.
- The knob is missing after service work on the switch.

For anyone whose machine runs perfectly from a technical point of view but has a worn or freely spinning switch knob at the front. A small part with a big effect on the overall impression.

When a machine comes to us in Bern or Zurich for a major service, we replace worn control elements at the same time – knob, lid, trim panel. Afterwards, the customer sees a machine that looks like the work that was done inside. That is our habit, not a manufacturer requirement. No returns
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

The knob sits on the outside. Still, disconnect the machine from the mains before any work.
