The knob cap that is often the first thing to go missing on a Linea PB
The Linea PB works in cafés with high throughput, and its steam valve knob is handled accordingly often. The small cap on top keeps the screw clean – until one day it pops off during cleaning and ends up down the drain.
This cap has the part number F.1.035. It costs little, but it is one of the parts that make a machine look well kept, and it protects the thread underneath from milk and limescale.
When it's due
Order a new cap if any of these apply:
- The cap is missing and the screw is visible.
- It no longer holds firmly and falls off during use.
- Cracks or chips on the rim.
- There is dried-on milk under the cap.
