The original water tank for the Olympia Maximatic: 1.7 litre capacity, made of taste-neutral stainless steel, refillable during operation. If your existing tank is damaged, corroded or scaled, this is the direct replacement solution. Original part from the Schwanden factory – precisely matched to the Maximatic mount.
Unlike plastic tanks, stainless steel does not release anything into the water – no plastic taste, no creeping change in aroma. Acid-resistant, durable, hygienic.
You don't have to let the machine cool down to refill water. Remove the tank, fill it, put it back – the workflow continues. This is one of the Maximatic design principles.
1.7 litres capacity is enough for several days of brewing plus milk steaming for normal home use. With intensive use or several cups daily, the refill interval is about two to three days.
Manufactured in the Olympia factory in Schwanden GL. Precisely matched to the Maximatic mount, no tolerances at the connecting valve.

For all Maximatic owners whose tank is damaged, leaking, corroded or permanently scaled. Also useful as a spare part for intensive use. Those who have taken over a second-hand Maximatic and want to start with a fresh tank will find the original solution here.
Water immersion filter for the Maximatic: in our Olympia Express Collection. Complete boiler cap (vacuum valve + seal): also there. Cleaning powder for backflushing: machine and grinder cleaning collection. Brita water filter options: Brita Collection.
In case of visible damage (dents, cracks), permanent corrosion or if the tank no longer gets clean despite descaling. With normal care, the tank lasts for many years.
Use water with low mineral content (ideal range 50–100 mg/l). Regular descaling with mild acids or Olympia-certified descaler. Current tanks can usually be kept clean by rinsing with warm water.
Turn off the machine, remove the old tank, insert the new tank and fill it with water. When filling for the first time, rinse the tank two to three times before making the first shot.
Online via coffeecoachingclub.ch. On site in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44, 3011 Bern) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b, 8050 Zurich). Click and Collect is available. Financing is available.
A new water tank is not the most spectacular maintenance part, but one of the most important – water makes up over 90% of your espresso. A fresh, taste-neutral tank is the honest basis for clean extraction. Our opinion, one of many.
