Rocket Giotto Cronometro V – Heat Exchanger Espresso Machine
The lever of the E61 group clicks up, the shot runs, and the built-in timer counts along. The Giotto Cronometro V carries the same familiar Rocket silhouette as its bigger sister – slimmer in build, because it runs from the tank.
Coffee Coaching Club is Rocket's partner in Switzerland. Your purchase includes our private barista course (German or English, in Bern or Zürich), in which we introduce you to extraction and the espresso ritual.
All features at a glance
Dual circuit with heat exchanger
Brewing and steaming without waiting: the heat exchanger delivers brew water and steam in parallel, ideal for espresso and milk foam one after another.
E61 brew group with pre-infusion
The thermosiphon-heated E61 group keeps the temperature stable and mechanically wets the puck before full pressure.
Shot timer and PID
The Cronometro measures the extraction time, the PID control keeps the temperature constant.
Vibration pump, tank operation
The vibration pump makes the machine compact and independent of a fixed water connection – you fill the tank and get going.

Who it's for
For everyone who wants the Giotto design and the E61 group without laying a fixed water connection. It stands on its own in the kitchen and is quickly ready to use. Nobody needs it – you want it, and that is a perfectly legitimate decision.
What goes with it
The right grinder makes the difference: affordable from our Varia Collection, more from the Eureka Coffee Grinders or Weber Workshops. Tampers and distributors are in the Tamper Collection, scales at Normcore or Acaia. The Machine Comparison helps with the choice.

Roastery tip
For the E61 character I like dense, chocolatey beans: our Cozy Chocolate or the Nutty Delight. That is our recommendation, one of many.
