It shows you in real-time the pressure you generate when pressing down the lever. The Mina is one of the few mobile espresso machines with a built-in pressure display – no electricity, no battery, just honest mechanics. Original part from Schwanden GL.
Classic espresso is extracted at 9 bar. The Mina manometer displays up to 16 bar – the oversized range provides a reserve for maximum lever force and visual safety. You can see whether you are in the espresso sweet spot (8–10 bar) or above.
Unlike electric machines with pumps, with the Mina, you have to build up pressure yourself. The manometer is your display – over weeks, you learn what 9 bar feels like in your hand. After a while, you won't need it, but at the beginning, it's worth its weight in gold.
Pure mechanical manometer – no battery, no electronics, no app calibration. Works just as well at the beach as at home.

Seal kit Mina for complete brew chamber maintenance: in our Olympia Express Collection. Piston rod Mina: also there. Fork Mina complete: same collection.
9 bar is the classic espresso pressure. With the Mina, you build up this pressure with your hand on the lever – the manometer shows you whether you are in the sweet spot (8–10 bar) or above.
Reserve. With very strong movements of the lever, the pressure can briefly exceed 10 bar – the manometer shows this honestly, instead of getting stuck at the stop.

The Mina manometer is one of the most honest learning tools for lever machines – at the beginning, you look at it every second, after a year you hardly need it anymore because your hand has developed the feel. A new manometer gives you back the learning process if the old one is worn out. Our opinion, one of many.
