Team Event Workshop – the team-building coffee experience
Enjoyment, learning and team spirit in one format: in this coffee team event at the Coffee Coaching Club Bern and Zurich, your team dives together into the world of coffee – from origin through roasting to a guided aroma tasting. The event is led by Yalcin Akpinar, our co-founder and flavour expert.
You'll work with the high-end machines from our showroom (including La Marzocco, Victoria Arduino, Sanremo, Rocket Espresso). The format is deliberately interactive and leaves plenty of room for shared experience, exchange and reflection within the team.

What awaits you
After a short, entertaining coffee theory session and an introduction to the showroom machines, the guided coffee tasting takes centre stage: your team tastes various coffees and preparations together, describes aromas from fruity-floral to nutty-chocolatey, and experiences how roast level and equipment influence the flavour. To finish, there's time for shared reflection.

The team event costs CHF 60 per person, with no tiered pricing. The format is ideal for teams of 5 to 18 people; the total cost follows directly from the number of participants.

The event takes place at our showrooms in Bern and Zurich: in Bern on Mondays with a workshop start between 10 am and 4 pm (we close at 6 pm), in Zurich Tuesday to Friday with a workshop start between 10 am and 3 pm (we close at 5 pm) – always by individual appointment.
Who leads the event?
Yalcin Akpinar, co-founder of Coffee Coaching Club. A qualified food chemist (University of Hamburg) with over 15 years of experience in the international flavour industry, most recently as Senior Taste Designer at Philip Morris International.
