Weber Workshops Looking Glass - Shot Mirror
We can't help but bend down and look at the perforations of the portafilter for those moments when the first drops converge and drip into the cup. The Looking Glass was designed to allow us to do this in an easy way.
Fully adjustable, with removable, vacuum coated, oleophobic mirror.
The base and mirror gimbal are a solid piece of machined 6061 aluminum with a hard black anodizing coating. A stainless steel bolt holds the magnetic stainless steel ball to the base and is covered with an elastomer foot to keep the mirror where you place it without scratching your drip tray.
The mirror is a circular piece of chemically tempered glass with a PVD coated metal back (mirror) and an oleophobic coating applied in a vacuum chamber, as used on high-end smartphones.
The simple construction with luxurious materials makes it fun and practical to have on the workbench.
