Tip from Coffee Coaching Club: Limescale insulates the heating elements and disrupts temperature stability during the shot – which can make subtle roast nuances taste flat. If you want to prevent this, work with reduced-limescale water (for example via a Brita filter) and have your machine professionally serviced every 1–2 years. That's our observation, one of many.
