Normcore RDT spray bottle 30 ml
One spray on the beans before grinding: the Normcore RDT spray bottle reduces static charge and retention in the grinder. Buy online in Switzerland, see it live in Bern and Zurich.
The bottle is made for the Ross Droplet Technique, RDT for short. It holds 30 ml, with a glass container inside and a black metal sleeve outside. Coffee Coaching Club is the official Swiss importer of Normcore.
What RDT does
With the Ross Droplet Technique, the roasted beans are lightly moistened with water before grinding. This diffuses the naturally occurring static that makes the grounds cling to surfaces. According to Normcore, a single spray is enough. Result: less retention in the grinder and a cleaner chute.
Features
Glass container in a metal sleeve
Inside is a pure glass container, outside a black metal sleeve. According to Normcore, the glass bottle and spray head passed the TÜV testing centre's lab tests under the European food contact directive, FDA and RoHS.
Plastic pump nozzle and cap
The pump nozzle and cap are made of plastic; the container beneath remains glass.
Refillable
Unscrew the cap, fill up with water, screw it back on. Normcore describes the bottle as reusable.

Who it's for
For anyone who grinds single dose and wants less coffee left in the grinder and at the chute. RDT is not a must. Whether it makes a difference for your grinder, you will see yourself after a few grinds. Our opinion is one of many.
The spray bottle works directly with the grinder. Affordable and precise: Varia VS3 or the hand grinder from Comandante. If you want more material and fine mechanics: Weber Workshops. All models are in our coffee grinders.
For weighing the dose: compact and precise with the scales from Normcore, with app and flow rate from Acaia. You'll find the right machine in our coffee machines; our advice tool narrows down the choice.

Tip from the roastery: A clean grind helps every bean. For dense, sweet espresso we reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. Full and round without any acidity: Very Nutty. If you are looking for a fruity experience, you will find it in Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
