The steam tap releases the steam when you open it, and stops it again. It is a purely mechanical tap, without a coil and without electricity. Over time, the sealing surfaces wear: the tap drips, is hard to operate or no longer closes completely.
The steam tap carries the number T.2.001. The part number is T.2.001.

The tap sits on a hot, steam-carrying line. That is why we do not provide step-by-step instructions. The machine must be depressurised and cooled down, and the replacement belongs in the hands of a specialist.
For technicians replacing a dripping steam tap on a Linea PB or GB5.
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
With a dripping tap, we first check whether an overhaul kit with new seals is enough before replacing the whole tap. That is our routine, not a manufacturer's specification. Then we pull an espresso with Very Nutty and check that everything is right – more in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. This is a manually operated, purely mechanical steam tap without a coil and without electricity.
The number T.2.001 is listed for both. Tell us the model and serial number and we will confirm the fit.
