Where the Linea PB's water is collected
Beneath the drip tray of the Linea PB sits a plastic box where everything comes together: the flush water from the groups, whatever misses when knocking out the puck, the condensate from the steam. From there it flows in an orderly way into the drain. As long as it is watertight, the machine base stays dry.
Over the years the plastic becomes brittle, and coffee oils and cleaning agents do the rest. Fine cracks first show up as moisture under the machine, later as a puddle on the counter. Part number F.1.078 designates the drain box of the Linea PB.
When it's due
- There is water under the machine even though the drain hose is clear.
- Cracks, deformations or breaks are visible on the box.
- The connection spigot no longer holds the hose securely.
- The box can no longer be cleaned properly because the surface has become rough.

Who it's for
For cafés and workshops that want to give a Linea PB in continuous operation its dry machine base back. If you're replacing the box, it's best to take a close look at the drain hose at the same time.
Important for installation
To replace it, the machine base must be made accessible and the drain disconnected. The machine must be switched off and cooled down. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions – in this area, lines and electrics are close together.
What goes with it
From our workshop
In Bern and Zurich we flush the drain box once a week with a litre of hot water before the shop closes. This keeps coffee oil and milk residue moving and prevents the smell that would otherwise eventually come from the machine base. Our habit, not a manufacturer requirement. Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Is this the same box as the Drain Box Nordic?
No. The Nordic version is an installation part for the water connection. This part is the plastic box in the machine base of the Linea PB.
Is a drain hose included?
No, only the box is supplied. We stock the hose and clamps separately.
Does it fit every Linea PB?
It is intended for the Linea PB. For older or modified machines, send us the serial number and we'll check the fit.
Can I replace it myself?
Replacing it requires work in the machine base. We recommend installation by a qualified professional.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
