The front housing frame is the load-bearing sheet metal behind the visible front plate of the Linea Micra. It holds the panel in position, gives the openings for the paddle and the rotary knob their clean edge and ensures that the gap between the front and the side wall stays the same width all the way round. As long as it is straight, you don't notice it – and that is exactly its job.
It only becomes noticeable when it no longer is. A warped corner after transport, a stripped screw mount after the third removal, a dent from knocking it with the edge of the portafilter: then the front plate sits crooked, rattles quietly every time the pump runs, and the panel can no longer be tightened flush. This frame is finished in RAL 9006, the white aluminium shade of the corresponding Micra series.

To replace it, the housing of the Micra has to be opened, and cables and live parts are located right next to it. Disconnect the machine from the mains beforehand, let it cool down and depressurise it. We deliberately don't provide step-by-step instructions here: anyone who has had the front open before knows what matters; everyone else is better served by a qualified professional.
For anyone who wants to restore their Micra to an as-new look, and for workshops that don't want to replace the entire housing assembly after transport damage. If you only want to renew the visible panel, you need the front panel instead.
From our workshop
In the workshop, we always place the removed front panel on a microfibre cloth, never directly on the table – the powder coating takes offence at every grain of sand. And because a job like this on the housing is rarely done in ten minutes, we have an espresso made with Nutty Delight ready beforehand in Bern and Zurich. That's our routine, not a manufacturer's requirement.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the appliance. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a short message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
No. This is the frame behind it that carries the panel. The visible plate is the front panel, a separate part. We have linked both.
The frame is finished in RAL 9006. Whether it fits your colour variant depends on the series. Send us the serial number and we will check before you order.
No screws are included in the scope of delivery. As a rule, the existing ones can be reused as long as the threads are clean.
RAL 9006 is the colour white aluminium, a light, slightly metallic grey. It is used on several Micra versions.
Yes. We are in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring along your machine's serial number or the old part, and we will compare them right at the counter.
