The small foot that quietly keeps things calm

With a diameter of 22,5 mm and a height of 10,5 mm, this is the smaller of the La Marzocco machine feet. It supports lighter assemblies, giving them a stable footing and decoupling them from the surface below. A part costing next to nothing that helps determine how a whole machine sounds.

You can never see wear from above – you hear it. When the rubber hardens, every vibration is passed straight on, and what used to be a quiet hum turns into a drone. If the foot is squashed flat, the machine stands crooked, and liquid in the tray no longer runs where it is supposed to. Part number F.2.060.

When it's due

  • The machine drones or hums noticeably louder than before.
  • A foot is squashed flat, hard or cracked.
  • The machine stands crooked or wobbles.
  • Liquid collects on one side of the tray.
  • A foot has torn off or is missing.

Who it's for

For anyone who wants to replace a hardened or lost foot, and for workshops that look under the machine during a service anyway.

What goes with it

From our workshop

In Bern and Zurich, before every foot order we measure the old foot with a caliper – diameter, height, thread. It takes a minute and saves the follow-up question of whether the part delivered was the right one. Coffee to go with it: our coffee beans. That's our routine, not a manufacturer requirement.

Returns excluded

Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll work out the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Which machine does this foot belong to exactly?

The item description doesn't make this clear, and we won't claim anything here. Send us your machine's serial number and we'll check the fit before we ship.

How many pieces do I get?

One foot. If you need a whole set, order the corresponding quantity.

Which dimensions do I need to measure on the old foot?

Diameter, height and the type of fastening. For this foot, it's Ø 22,5 mm and 10,5 mm height.

Why is replacing it worth it at all?

Because hard rubber transmits the pump's vibration unfiltered into the worktop. The difference after replacing it is immediately audible.

Can I look at the part in your showroom?

Yes. We're in Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and in Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Bring your machine's serial number or the old part, and we'll compare directly at the counter.
