The original Cremina group head gasket made of silicone – the factory-installed version. Outer diameter 57.9 mm, inner diameter 48 mm, height 6.8 mm. Soft, temperature-resistant, dimensionally stable in the brew group pressure range. Seals the transition between the portafilter and the brew group and maintains pressure during extraction. Original part from Schwanden GL.
Olympia explicitly calls it the "Original Brühkopfdichtung Cremina" (Original Cremina Group Head Gasket). If you want to keep your Cremina in its factory condition, this is the right choice. Silicone is softer than PU, which allows the portafilter to lock in smoothly and provides a gentle stop when clamping.
Outer diameter 57.9 mm, inner diameter 48 mm, height 6.8 mm – the dimensions are matched to the Cremina brew group. When installing, pull out the old gasket, insert the new one with light pressure, done.
Silicone tolerates constant temperature changes between standby and extraction. Even after months in a warmed-up machine, the gasket remains flexible.

This gasket here. The Olympia factory version, gentler when clamping, temperature-resistant. For all who want to keep their Cremina in its original setup.
The PU version is harder (95 Shore A), more dimensionally stable under pressure, and has a longer service life – good for heavy users who want to go as long as possible without maintenance appointments. Requires a little more force when clamping.
For all Cremina and Cremina SL owners who want to keep their machine in factory condition or prefer a smooth clamping feel during normal use.
PU version as a harder alternative: in the Olympia Express Collection. Complete gasket set for major maintenance: also there. Shower screens and boiler caps: same collection. Cleaning powder: Machine and Grinder Cleaning Collection.
Yes. Olympia explicitly calls the silicone version "Original Brühkopfdichtung Cremina" – this is the gasket that is installed at the factory.
Silicone is softer and temperature-resistant, gentler when clamping the portafilter – corresponds to the factory original. PU with 95 Shore A is harder and more durable, with a slightly firmer tamping feel. Silicone for original fidelity, PU for heavy users.
If water leaks from the portafilter during extraction or the portafilter can no longer be clamped tightly. Typical replacement intervals for silicone: 1–2 years with intensive use.

The silicone version is the factory original – if you want to keep your Cremina in its true original condition, this is the right choice. When replacing: lightly grease the brew group beforehand, then the new gasket will slide cleanly into position. Our opinion, one of many.
