Brewspire Wooden Lid – Upgrade for the La Marzocco Pico
The lid is the first thing your hand touches in the morning: lift it off, top up the beans, put it back – and only then does the Pico start humming. From the factory that is a piece of plastic. This lid in solid wood replaces exactly that one part and turns a routine move into a small moment.

Handcrafted in Germany
Brewspire makes every lid from durable solid wood, entirely in Germany. The surface is finely sanded and oiled with saliva-safe woodturner's oil so the typical real-wood feel is preserved. A chamfer running all the way around the top adds the modern accent. The precisely fitted groove on the underside guides the lid safely onto the bean hopper and compensates for the way wood works over the course of the year.
Oak or walnut
Both woods come from the same workshop and differ only in the wood itself. In our experience behind the bar, oak looks lighter and calmer, walnut darker and livelier in its grain. Because wood is a natural material, every piece carries its own grain – your lid is one of a kind, no two look exactly alike.

Does the lid fit every La Marzocco Pico?
The lid is made for the bean hopper of the La Marzocco Pico and sits there precisely – no matter which housing colour your grinder comes in.
Do I have to install anything?
No. The wooden lid replaces the standard lid directly on the bean hopper, without any tools.
Why does every lid look slightly different?
Because wood is a natural material, grain and colour vary from piece to piece. That is exactly what makes every lid unique.
How do I care for the wood?
The surface is oiled with saliva-safe woodturner's oil. In our experience a dry or slightly damp cloth is enough – oiled solid wood does not like dishwashers or standing moisture.
Is the lid available in other woods?
