La Marzocco Portafilter Body incl. Spring and Spout Gasket – Original Spare Part
Sooner or later a portafilter has a history: a drop onto the stone worktop, a handle that will not tighten properly any more, a thread that has worn out. The body is the part that takes all of it – and the part you can replace on its own instead of buying a whole new portafilter.
This is the original body from La Marzocco, the way it is fitted at the factory. Spring and spout gasket are included so the basket sits cleanly again and the spout seals properly.
What is included – and what is not
In the box you get the portafilter body, the spring for the basket and the gasket for the spout. Basket and spout are not included: you either carry them over from your previous portafilter or choose new ones to match your shot. The spout thread is an M12 with 15 degrees.

Who it is for
For anyone whose portafilter has taken mechanical damage while basket and spout are still perfectly fine. And for anyone who wants a second body hanging on the machine – one for espresso, one for milk drinks, without knocking out and rinsing in between.
What goes with it
The matching spout comes as a La Marzocco single spout or La Marzocco double spout. Baskets, gaskets and everything else are under La Marzocco accessories and spare parts, the machines themselves in the La Marzocco collection.
Tip from our café
When a fresh body goes onto the machine, a calibration round pays off: same bean, same dose, dial the shot in again. That is our experience from behind the bar in Bern, not a lab measurement – a new body seats differently in the group and the shot often runs a few seconds differently afterwards. We like Nutty Delight as a reliable reference coffee, Cozy Chocolate for dense chocolate notes and Very Nutty when it should be maximum body without acidity. All roasts under coffee beans.

Is a basket included?
No. The body comes without basket and without spout. Spring and spout gasket are included.
Which thread does the spout have?
An M12 thread with 15 degrees. Spouts with that specification fit directly.
Can I reuse basket and spout from my old portafilter?
If your previous portafilter has the same thread, basket and spout can be carried over. If you are unsure, send us a quick note telling us which model you run.
Do I need tools for the swap?
Fitting the spout takes a suitable spanner. If you would rather not, we do it for you in the workshop.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
Yes, in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) you can see it in person.
