The Acaia Ion Beam features an industrial-grade ion generator. It is designed to significantly reduce the static electricity generated during the grinding process. This results in less residue, less flying chaff and minimal clumping. The device achieves this by producing a steady stream charged ions. This effectively neutralizes the static charge that occurs during grinding. In addition, the Ion Beam is now equipped with an IR sensor for motion detection. If you place a container nearby, the ionizer is activated. This ensures a gentler , more efficient grinding experience.
